What is involved in the procedure and does it hurt? The skin is cleaned and afterwards numbed with a topical numbing cream, it should not hurt at all. Skin is thoroughly needled in such a way that each skin park is needled 15-20 times. An even flushing to the skin is the best indication for a perfect medical treatment.

How many treatments are needed? It is recommended to start with 3 medical treatments spaced 6-8 weeks apart between treatments. Then depending on the skin, more treatments may be required. Results can be seen in 6 weeks and the process continues over the following months.The home care roller is used in conjunction with the medical treatments once-twice a week.

What to expect post treatment? The inflammatory reaction of the skin is extremely short and fades quickly within hours of the treatment from a redness to pink which may last 12-24 hours on average.
